PLAYBOY PUBLICIZES "PICTURING THE MODERN AMAZON"
You frequently hear the criticism that women's bodybuilding and hyper-muscular females have no chance of "maintstream" acceptance. But Bill Dobbins' photos have twice been mentioned or reviewed by Playboy (the picture below from the exhibition "Picturing the Modern Amazon" as well as a mention of the book Modern Amazons). And what can be more mainstream when it comes to sexy women than an endorsement from Hugh Hefner and Playboy Magazine? Not to mention a multi-page article in Hustler! Evidently female muscle is more acceptable than many of it's critics contend. They should try paying more attention.
