FROM BILL DOBBINS' FEMALE PHYSIQUE WEBZINE/GALLERY:
JENNIFER CAPRIATI: THE RIGHT TO BARE ARMS
If you wonder why Jennifer Capriati wins tennis tournaments while Anna Kornikova doesn't, this Associated Press photo should give some indication. Nowadays women's tennis is dominated by big, powerful players. Competitors like Venus Williams who can serve at 120 MPH and faster. Capriati's arm development is one of the keys to her ability to compete successfully against Venus and Serena, Martina Hingis and the other powerhouses of women's tennis. And how did she develop this kind of strength? Where did those biceps and triceps come from? Well, you don't build massive arms like that hitting a tennis ball. Muscularity like that comes from training with weights in the gym. Perhaps Kornikova should spend less time having her hair done for TV commercials and devote more of her schedule to pumping iron in the gym.
