This is the first era in all of human history in which women have developed hyper-muscularity for primarly aesthetic purposes. This concept is so totally revolutionary and culturally dangerous that even the physique federations themselves still have grave reservations about the idea. But along with being "something new under the son," the aesthetically developed female bodybuilding physique is also a wonderful subject for photographic art. These women are living sculptures and represent a unique expression of the human body, gender and erotic possibilities. It is my great fortune to be working in an era in whcih these beautiful and sexy muscular women are available as subjects for my photographic efforts.
